First Full Day In Nice

Once we'd woken up we went for a short walk where on the way we passed the Old Town or Original Town of Nice, on the way to finding a very nice French Brassiere where we sat out side with  Baguettes and mini Croissants in hand thinking about what we might do later on today.

Sitting outside whilst having breakfast watching the French World roll on staring at the market, looking at all the different things that are on sale i.e Fruits, Vegetables, Soaps, Pottery and much more. As we quickly learnt, when looking for fruits or vegetables you take a metal bowl and choose your desired food, put them in the bowl take them to a small type of cashier and take them away with you in a bag.

After the market we went for a walk to a nearby Square where on the way we found our favourite brand of ice cream Ben&Jerry's, the reason that we like Ben&Jerry's is because they've got flavours like Cookie Dough which has little balls of you guessed it cookie dough in between the ice cream with many more weird flavours. Once we'd reached the Square we went to a toy shop where we found out that the French call where's Wally wheres Charlie, after that we returned to our hotel where me and Dad went for a swim in the Cote d'Azur Which is the name of the bay that we look out on.

When we went to Dinner we went to a Restaurant.  It was very nice, the food was good.  For the Main course I had a nice Ravioli with Bolognese sauce and a side of Gnochhi also with Bolognese sauce. For dessert I had a Creme Brulee  and the service was very quick making it the best dinner in Nice for me personally yet. After the beautiful walk back something petrified us at the hotel.  All three of us went in the hotel lift. It mentions a two person warning but we presumed that that was there because it is a very small lift. But apparently when you put more than two people in (let's say three people which just happen to be called Joseph, Paul and Bridget) said people may stop the said lift from reaching the desired destination. Let's just say that it isn't very nice being stuck with your parents in a small, hot, shaky lift for about ten minutes and thirty seven seconds. Thankfully I was rescued by two baffled French men that were quite obviously saying to one another "Where are these people from?" "New Zealand" "New Zealand?" "Oui!" I preferred the stairs anyway.
