Last Day of Dubai

There won't be much in this post considering it is/was the last day and today was a slow day, still dad and I went to the Aquaventure as per normal which was depressing leaving it for the last time but we still managed to ride all the slides and pull through.

After a good five hours of just soaking up the sun we all went to the gold souq which is where there are heaps of shops all selling gold.  it is very hot and is full of all imaginable different carats of gold jewellry in all shapes and sizes, it also happens to be where my mum bought a new ring to replace the one that she had lost that had been given to her by my grandparents for her twenty first birthday.

It is also where we saw the worlds largest gold ring.

Afterwards we went to the Herbs and Spices Souqs which was full of rich smells and lots of people trying to offer us cold beverages and piles of saffron and cinnamon and paprika plus many many more, which I can unfortunately remember. Following our trip to the two souqs we had dinner at a Chinese Noodle place inside the Atlantis Hotel that had very nice soups and noodles up for offer. By the way on the way to the souqs there was a massive sandstorm and on the way back it rained which according to the locals only happens 4-6 times a year! All in all Dubai is a very nice State/Place that if you have the chance to go to I highly suggest you take it.
