Las vegas - Day 1

Once we had fully woken up yesterday we had to head off to the airport to fly off to Las Vegas. We checked all our bags in and headed off to the gate, by the time we reached the gate we had perfectly timed it so that we could just walk on to the plane. We were sitting up the front and got served orange juice, as it was the morning, alongside with breakfast (omlette or oatmeal), close to the end of the flight we flew over the Grand Canyon and the main river giving water to Nevada. We eventually landed in Las Vegas and collected our bags, we then left to our hotel to drop everything off. This is what we saw.

First class breakfast and the effects of global warming on Vegas.

Once we'd dropped our bags off we headed out for lunch at a mexican themed restaurant in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino before we went to shop in the Bellagio and Caesars Palace. After we went shopping we went back to the hotel just in time to get changed before heading out again to see La Reve, a Cirque du Soliel production. The show was great as it used a water based theater which had a massive pool in the middle, they used dance and storytelling to portray an interesting story which I found very entertaining. This is what happened, through pictures.

Final bows.

As I hope you can assume, the stage doesn't stay in one position throughout the performance it just loked good for the photo. After the show we went back to the hotel(Four Seasons) where we had dinner(the reataurant was a part of the Mandalay Bay hotel base) at Wolfgang Puck's Italian restaurant. After dinner dad went off to play poker and me and mum went upstairs to listen to the Democratic National Convention in bed before nodding off for  more relaxed day tomorrow.
