The first real day for us in Las Vegas started off with us having breakfast in the Veranda restaurant near the Four Seasons' pool. For breakfast I had s'mores french toast, my mum had avocadoes on toast and dad had bacon and eggs. Following our excersion to breakfast we went to the Mandalay Bay's beach club. Our hotel is the top 5 floors of the Mandalay Bay Hotel so we have free access to the beach club which has wave pools, lazy rivers etc but no shade. When it's already 35 degrees at 10am, even a slice of shade was going to be important. They sold shade via the use of a Cabana for $175 per hour, but we decided the free shade of the Four Seasons pool was far better. They brought us lunch by the pool when we had corn chips and guacamole with a virgin pina colada and a virgin mojito. After lunch we went shopping, we went to the Premier Outlets South mall just off of the strip, there we walked up and down the long site of the mall stopping for clothes, shoes etc. Here's what we saw.

After we finished shoppong we walked out into the heat of 45 degrees before taking a taxi to the New York, New York hotel. There we had a mexican dinner which we ate whilst facing the rollercoaster going around and just outside the hotel, we all had tacoes and a salad, all this before heading back to the hotel where we used the in-room dining option to get dessert. This is what we saw.

Whilst we had dessert we watched the Democratic National Convention speakers before going to bed for a relaxed day in Las Vegas tomorrow.

Can't get my head around s'mores for breakfast / you will have to enlighten me. That looks to be a mighty hot day - you were lucky to have a good hotel and that pool. See you soon
