New York - Day 2- Night at the Baseball

After we got home from our day we went rested before getting changed and heading out to the Bronx's Yankee Stadium which is where we passed through security checks, the lobby and then finall through the rows to our seats, we arrived jut in time for the start of the first innings. These are the photos we took.

Sign warning us of the pacey balls and bats coming our way.

Just before the game started everybody stood for the national anthem. Once the game had got underway the bases had begun to load up, all this before the Yankees scored three runs in one innings(quite impressive). During the game we got some food(A burger, a bucket of fried chicken burgers and chips) and a massive jug of coke to share between us, not only were the seats were comfortable but there were individual cup holders for each seat. We saw most of the current famous Yankees and Red Sox players and had a really good experience, sadly the Yankees lost by two runs but it was only the first game in the series, heres hoping, after the game we took the busy subway system home before we slept and slept.

  1. That subway looked packed out as did the stadium wot an experience to be at a game there and to see those exhibits. I expect it was quite thrilling to be in that crowd for the national anthem. I am guessing you did not need dinner after those snacks!!!
